Claim List

WINDOW OVERVIEW:

The Claim List window displays claims that meet the search criteria specified on the Search Claimwindow and provides additional details, such as the provider name and service dates.

This window displays two list boxes. The top list box displays the claims that meet the search criteria specified on the Search Claim window. The bottom list displays additional information about a claim item once a claim is highlighted in the top list box.

Claim Item Status Codes

FIELD DESCRIPTIONS:

Claim List Box:

Batch Number:  This column displays the unique system assigned batch identification number that included the claim. The batch number contains the Julian date plus the worker number plus the time (using the 24-hour clock).

Claim ID:  This column displays the unique claim identification number.

Provider Name:  This column displays the name of the provider.

Tot.Submitted:  This column displays the total dollar amount of the submitted claim.

Tot.Approved:  This column displays the total dollar amount of the submitted claim approved for payment.

DHHS Office:  This column displays the name of the local office serving the person(s) listed on the claim.

more minus Select the More Minus button to view claims viewed on a previous page. This will be enabled only if there is more than one page.
more plus Select the More Plus button to view more claims on the next page. This button will be enabled only if there is more than one page.

Claim Item Group Box:

Line:  This column displays the line number assigned to the claim item.

Vers:  This column displays the version as updated by the system.

Status:  This column displays the status for the claim item. The status displays as an abbreviation.

Last:  This column displays the last name of the person receiving the service.

First: This column displays the first name of the person receiving the service.

Freq: This column displays the frequency of the service. The frequency displays as an abbreviation.

SvcBegin: This column displays the date the service began.

SvcEnd: This column displays the date through which the service ran.

Service Type: This column displays the type of service being provided.

ACTION BUTTONS:

 Selecting a claim item enables the Claim Item button.  Select this button to open the Detail Claim Item window to display detailed information about the selected claim item.
