Add Description to Provider Rates

The description adds narrative about additional rate variables. Example: if a provider offers a discounted rate for the second child in a family, the discount would be documented in the description.

The Description is always specific to one rate row. When adding a new rate, the Description should be entered before selecting the ‘Add Rates’ button. If the new rate has already been moved to the Rate List Box, highlight the row prior to selecting the Description button.

To add or change a Description for a rate that has already been saved, highlight the rate row prior to selecting the Description button. If a rate change results in the row being split and description needs to be added for the newly created row, that row must be highlighted prior to opening the Description window.

  1. Select the Description button.
  2. Enter any special instructions or variables regarding the rate.
  3. Select the OK button.
  4. Repeat these steps to add Description for other rate rows.
