Interview Questions for Offenses/Disposition

Prior and Current Offenses, and Adjudications:

1. Can you tell me a little bit about the situation that brought you to the court this last time?

   Tell me about this last time that you were arrested — who were you with, what were the circumstances, etc.

2. How many times you have been arrested before?

   What happened as a result of those arrests? (Was the youth adjudicated).

3. How old were you when you got in trouble for the first time — with the police?

   Can you tell me a little about that situation?

4. Have you ever been on Probation/Parole before?

   How did that go for you? — Were you ever written up for violations? (If so, how many?).  Did you get along with your Probation/Parole Officer?

5. Have you ever been sentenced (post-disposition) to detention or any other facility?
6. How many different crimes were you charged with this most recent time?  What were the charges?
