ADC Payment Only Overview

An ADC Payment Only Program case provides for an ADC grant for the pregnant woman during her last trimester of pregnancy when there is NOT a pending or active ADC program case for other family members.  All eligibility requirements for ADC must be met; including deprivation.

The ADC Payment Only Program does not include Medicaid coverage for the participant.

An ADC Payment Only Program Case is added when:

• The pregnant woman is in the third trimester of pregnancy, or if the baby has been born, the date of birth confirms the mother was in the third trimester of pregnancy at the beginning of the selected month.

Note :  If the pregnant woman has an active CSE sanction, due to non-cooperation for a child other than the unborn, the ADC payment is reduced by 25%.

• If the pregnant woman is active in an AABD/MED program case, then close the AABD program case via Case Maintenance, Sanction CSE.
• If the pregnant woman is Financially Responsible (FR) in the ADC case due to being an ineligible alien or in a sanction that does not allow her to receive ADC/MED,  then use Sanctions and add CSE Budget Sanction.  This will reduce the grant by 25%.

If there is a pending or active ADC program case for other family members, the grant can be increased in that program case to include the payment needs of the pregnant woman.
