Add Tribal Information
- Locate the “Person Detail” window or the “CFS Program Person” window.
- Select the Tribal button.
- The Detail Tribal Information Window displays.
- Select the ‘No Tribal Affiliation’ box, if the child is not affiliated with any tribe.
- Select the Add Tribe push button, to view the List Tribes and search for tribes which the person may be affiliated with.
- Highlight a tribe and enter the Enrollment Number for the Tribe.
- Enter the person’s membership status for the highlighted tribe.
- Enter the date that the membership status was determined for the highlighted tribe.
- Enter if documentation of member ship has been received for the highlighted tribe.
- The “List Tribes” Window displays a list of all federally recognized tribes.
- Scroll down the list to find the appropriate Tribal Name.
- Users can search for a particular tribe or set of tribes.
- In the “Search by Tribe Name” box, type tribe to be searched.
- Select the “Search” button.
- Select the “Clear” button, to clear search and start new.
- Highlight the Tribal Name on the Tribal Name list.
- Select the blue arrow.
- Save and close.
