Add Tribal Information

  1. Locate the “Person Detail” window or the “CFS Program Person” window.
  2. Select the Tribal button.
  3. The Detail Tribal Information Window displays.
    1. Select the ‘No Tribal Affiliation’ box, if the child is not affiliated with any tribe.
  4. Select the Add Tribe push button, to view the List Tribes and search for tribes which the person may be affiliated with.
  5. Highlight a tribe and enter the Enrollment Number for the Tribe.
  6. Enter the person’s membership status for the highlighted tribe.
  7. Enter the date that the membership status was determined for the highlighted tribe.
  8. Enter if documentation of member ship has been received for the highlighted tribe.
  9. The “List Tribes” Window displays a list of all federally recognized tribes.
  10. Scroll down the list to find the appropriate Tribal Name.
  11. Users can search for a particular tribe or set of tribes.
  12. In the “Search by Tribe Name” box, type tribe to be searched.
  13. Select the “Search” button.
  14. Select the “Clear” button, to clear search and start new.
  15. Highlight the Tribal Name on the Tribal Name list.
  16. Select the blue arrow.
  17. Save and close.
