Change/Update Indexed Images

The Copy Person Index Info action is available from the Detail Master Case window, Person Detail or Detail Organization windows. The steps for using this function are the same from all three windows.  

When it is determined that an image has been indexed to the wrong Person or Organization;

  1. The List Image window must be open.
  2. Highlight the document which you want to change on the List Image window.
  3. On the List Image window, click Actions and select Update Index Information from the drop down option.
  4. The Index Image window opens.  Click the swoosh out arrow to open the Person Search or Organization Search window.
  5. Enter information about the correct person or Organization that the image should be indexed to.  Select the Search button.  The Person List  or Organization List window opens if more than one person or organization matches the information. (If the exact person/organization is found the Person Detail or Detail Organization window will open.)
  6. Highlight the correct person or organization to open the Person Detail or Detail Organization  window. Confirm this is the person or organization the document should be indexed to.
  7. Select Actions, Copy Person Index Info.  The Index Image dialog box Name and ID Number field will change to the selected Person or Organization.  
  8. Select the appropriate Category.
  9. Select Generate Alert only if an alert is suppose to be sent.
  10. Click Update.
