Change IV-E Status
Only an Income Maintenance-Foster Care Worker, or someone designated
by the service area, is responsible for determining Title IV-E eligibility
and changing the IV-E status indicator.
- On the
Home Details window, select (highlight) the facility type.
- Select
the Actions menu, then Change IV-E Indicator. A dialog box displays where
the IV-E indicator can be changed. A facility's IV-E status will change
to "y" automatically when the facility's license or approval
becomes active. It will change to "N" automatically if a license
or approval is closed. An out of state facility's IV-E indicator has to
be changed using step #2.
- Select
the YES button on the Dialog Box. The Home Details window displays with
the new IV-E indicator information entered.
- Select
the Save icon. The new information is saved and an alert is sent to IM
workers and Case Managers notifying of the IV-E status change.
