The Run Notices Message will appear: "Select Yes to create notices. Any changes made today to Expert System program cases will be used in creating the notice. Select No and notices will not run".
Note: If Yes is selected and no changes are detected, a message is displayed stating " No benefit change detected. A notice will not be created".
Note: Changes related to multiple processing in the same day processing session. If the case is reprocessed during the same day, regardless of the number of checkouts, notices should be rerun to reflect the appropriate changes.
Tip:
Once you have processed the Notices task, you must Save your data. If you do not save out of this task, no automated notice will be created.
You must check in the Master Case in order to actually commit the data to the system for any Expert System change, including Notices. If you override your check out, no automated notice will be created.
Since an automated notice is not truly created until you have done all of the above steps, you cannot see an automated notice via the Correspondence icon until these steps are complete. Therefore, if you have processed through and saved the Notices task, and then go to the Correspondence icon on the Navigator window before checking the case in, the notice cannot be viewed or printed.
Once you have been in the Notices task , if you return to that task before you check in the Master Case, the system will assume you are starting over with the creation of your Notices. It will wipe out what was there (including any comments or overridden groupings) and begin from scratch.
