Enter EF Monthly Participation Tracking
Key Points
- EF funding is based on the participation rate
for those clients. To obtain the maximum federal funding available, it
is necessary to update this participation status.
- The system will allow you to select months of
the previous quarter through the end of the first month of the current
quarter
Example 1:
The last quarter
is 1/1/03 to 3/31/03 and the current date is 4/18/03. The participation
for January, February, and March can be updated. April is not on the list
because we are currently in April and you can't confirm participation
for a month that is not complete.
Example 2:
The last quarter
is 10/1/02 to 12/31/02 and the current date is 02/15/03 You can no longer
update any of the months in the previous quarter. As of this date,
only participation for the month of 1/03 can be updated.
- Since this data is pulled for Federal Reports,
once the data is submitted for a quarter, it can't be changed.
- An EF case must be in Active or Transitional status
to add a Component or Hours
Enter EF Participation
- From the Detail Program Case window for the EF
case, highlight the participant
- Select the Actions drop down menu, select EF and
Monthly
Participation Tracking
- Use the drop down list to select the month
- Use the drop down list to select the EF Component.
- If
the selected EF component has an educational component tied to it, the
Education button will enable.
- Click the Education button to open the Education
Sub Category dialog box. Select
the type of educational category from the drop down list. Click
OK to save and return to the prior window.
- Enter the Number of Hours Participated
- Select the Add button and the information will
be displayed in the EF Component group box
- Continue with steps 4-6 to add other EF Components
- Select Save to save the data, but remain on the
window or select Save/Close to return to the Detail Program Case window
