Search by Ward Name or SSN

On the Search Trust Fund Account window, click on the outselect arrow in the Ward box.

The Person Search window displays.

  1. Type the SSN in the SSN field or type the ward name in the Last and First fields.

    Note: When searching by name, specifying the Sex can narrow the search. See N-FOCUS Help, Person Search, for more tips.

  2. Click on the Search button.

    If no person matches the search criteria, an error message displays. Click on the OK button to close the message box

    If only one person, select the person, then click the return arrow.

    If more than one person matches the search criteria, the Person List window displays a list of persons. Click on the desired person, then click on the blue return arrow

    The Search Trust Fund Account window displays the Name and SSN for the desired ward.

    Once the ward information displays in the Search Trust Fund Account window, select any other desired search criteria (Location, Account Type, Account Status).

  3. Decide at which locations you will search for accounts.

    1. Check the All Locations box (default) to display all of the ward's accounts at all locations (i.e., if a Kearney user is logged on, accounts at Kearney and Lincoln could display).
    2. Uncheck the All Locations box to display the ward's accounts only for the location assigned to the current Logon ID (i.e., if a Kearney user is logged on, only Kearney accounts would display).
  4. Decide what account types to view. The Type field defaults to All. To view other account types, click on the Types down arrow, then click on the desired type.
  5. Decide what account statuses to view. The Status field defaults to All. To view other account types, click on the Status down arrow, then click on the desired type.
  6. Click on the Exclude Closed Accounts check box to display All statuses except Closed.

    Uncheck the Exclude Closed Accounts check box to display All statuses

  7. Click on the Search button.

    If no account matches the search criteria, an error message displays

    If only one account matches the search criteria, the Detail Trust Fund Account window displays

    If more than one account matches the search criteria, the List Trust Fund Account window displays.

    Scroll to the right to see more detail

    Click on the desired account, then click on the Open button (or double-click on the desired account).

    The Detail Trust Fund Account window displays for the account selected.
