Search for a Service Type

Key Points:

When adding Provider Detail to a Service Approval, if you search for the Service Type and there is more than one page, the Blue Select Arrow will not enable. If you use a different search criteria to narrow the search and there is only one page, then the Blue Select Arrow will enable.

For example, if 'Out of Home Maintenance' is being added to a Service Approval, when selecting the Service Type, the search criteria of Children and Family Services is used. Since there is more than one page of services for CFS, the Blue Select Arrow will not enable. If you use the search criteria of Out of Home Maintenance, a list of programs that allow this service type will be displayed on one page. Select the Children and Family Services program case and the Blue Select Arrow will enable.

1. Select the Services icon from the Main Menu.
2. From the Search Service Type window, select one search criteria.

   1. Select the Service Type number

      OR

   2. Select the Name of the Service Type (ie. Out of Home Maintenance)

      OR

   3. Select the Short Name of the Service Type

      OR

   4. Select the category to show all types of services within that category

      OR

   5. Select the Program to show all services within this program. NOTE: A program can also be selected along with the name or category to narrow the search.
3. After selecting the search category, select the Search push button
