Understand SDX Interface

State Data Exchange (SDX) is an automatic interface with the Social Security Administration (SSA) which provides us with information about Supplemental Security Income (SSI).

When an individual is pending or  active in a program case with a role of Financially Responsible, Participant, or Community Spouse they will be processed for the interface.   The system will interface with SSA and provide us with information regarding the individuals entitlement to SSI benefits. The information from this interface is considered verified.

The interface contains the person's social security number, date of birth, payment amount, and date the payment started.
