Update Self Employment

Tax Return Flow

  1. From the Self-Employment Current tab select (highlight) the line of self-employment that requires update
  2. Select the Update button.
  3. The Update SE Tax Return window will display.
  4. If Adding a new return, select the Add button and repeat the steps for adding self employment with Tax Returns.
  5. If updating an existing return, highlight the line and select the update button.
  6. The Update SE Income window will display.
  7. Correct/update the information as appropriate. Both the date and the income amount can be update.
  8. Select the appropriate tax form tab if it is necessary to correct information specific to the tax form. Select OK.

Ledger Flow

  1. From the Self-Employment Current tab select (highlight) the line of self-employment that needs to be updated.
  2. Select the Update button
  3. The Update SE Ledger window will display.

    Note: It is not possible to change the name or type of self-employment . If these things were entered incorrectly delete the income and enter a new income instance.

  4. Select the Ledger tab to make changes, add or update ledger information.
  5. If updating an existing return, highlight the line and select the update button. Correct the information as necessary.

    Note: If you make a correction to an existing ledger entry the verification will return to unverified if there was a verification entered.

  6. If adding new information select the Add button and repeat the add ledger process.
