Supportive Services Following Ineligibility for a Grant

The case manager may provide necessary supportive services (other than child care) for the duration of the clients participation in all EF components and, if needed, after the loss of eligibility for cash assistance if the loss of eligibility was due to earned income, and if the individual was participating in EF at the time.

The case manager may provide supportive services for up to three months for all EF components included in the EF contract. Supportive services that are necessary for job retention may be provided for up to six months after the loss of eligibility for cash assistance if the loss of eligibility was due to earned income, and if the individual was cooperating with or participating in EF at the time. The supportive services must be determined as necessary and critical for the individual to be able to maintain and retain the clients current employment.

The month of the transitional half grant counts as one of the months of extended supportive services.
