3-014.07 Sanction for Refusal to Cooperate

392 NAC 3-014.07

Upon receiving notification from the IV-D unit that the individual refused to cooperate, the case manager must close the Child Care Subsidy case.

In cases where there is more than one noncustodial parent, the sanction is based on the child(ren) associated with the noncustodial parent.

Example:  Sally has two children, Billy and Susie.  Sally cooperates with CSE in obtaining support from Billy's father; she is sanctioned for not cooperating in obtaining support from Susie's father.  Sally may receive Child Care Subsidy for Billy but not Susie.
