NAC 2-005.01A
Some examples of good cause for terminating
employment include -
- Illness of the employed household member;
- Illness of another household member requiring the
presence of the employed member;
- Unavailability of transportation (including public
transportation);
- Work demands or conditions that make continued employment
unreasonable, such as working without being paid on schedule;
- Acceptance of employment that requires the parent
to leave other employment;
- Acceptance by one parent of employment in another
geographic area which requires the unit to move and thereby requires the
second parent to leave employment;
- Acceptance of a bona fide job offer which, because
of circumstances beyond the control of the parent, subsequently either
does not materialize or results in employment of less than 100 hours per
month; or
- Leaving a job in connection with patterns of employment
in which workers frequently move from one employer to another, such as
in migrant farm labor or construction work.
