2-006 Parental Responsibility

468 NAC 2-006

The worker shall determine the ability of the parent to support each dependent child in whose behalf ADC/MA is applied for or received.

In Nebraska, the responsible parent(s) of a child age 18 or younger includes-

1. The natural parent(s);
2. The adoptive parent(s); and
3. The stepparent(s).
