Liquid resources are assets that are in
cash or financial instruments which are convertible to cash. They include
resources such as -
- Cash on hand;
- Cash in savings or checking accounts;
- Certificates of deposit;
- Stocks;
- Bonds;
- Investments;
- Collectable unpaid notes or loans;
- Promissory notes;
- Mortgages;
- Land contracts;
- Land leases;
- Revocable burial funds;
- Trust or guardianship funds;
- Cash value of insurance policies;
- Other similar properties;
- Federal and state tax refunds (excluding EIC's);
and
- Medical savings accounts.
