Household goods and personal effects of a moderate value used in the home are exempt. Household goods are defined as including household furniture and furnishings, tools, and equipment used in the operation, maintenance and occupancy of the home or in the functions and activities of the home and family life, as well as those items which are for comfort and accommodation. Personal effects include clothing, jewelry, items of personal care, etc.
