2-003.07B Loss of State Residence
Eligibility for AABD/MA or SDP/MA ends if the family unit leaves Nebraska with the intent of establishing its home in another state. The family may receive AABD/MA or SDP/MA from Nebraska (if otherwise eligible) for a period not to exceed two months to enable the other state to process the application.
A family unit may not receive AABD/MA or SDP/MA from Nebraska beyond the date on which it has been found eligible for categorical assistance from another state.
Exception: Individuals who leave the state for longer than two months may continue to receive AABD/MA or SDP/MA in Nebraska if they are absent for a temporary purpose and intend to return.
