Assistance may be provided for a client who is a patient in a medical institution, i.e., hospital, nursing home, etc., if all other eligibility factors are met. Psychiatric wards of medical hospitals are considered part of the medical institution and are not subject to the restriction on psychiatric care identified in 469 NAC 2-008.02A.
