To determine if a client or his/her spouse deprived himself/herself of a resource in order to qualify for an AABD grant, the worker must look back 36 months from when the individual applies for AABD grant assistance or, if later, the date on which the individual or spouse disposes of resources for less than fair market value.
The look back period for grant is always 36 months.
