In determining the appropriate standard to be allowed, the worker shall verify the current licensure/certification of the facility. If the facility is covered under more than one licensure/ certification, the worker shall verify in which section the client is residing and which licensure/certification applies.

Facility licensure can be found at http://www.hhs.state.ne.us/crl/rosters.htm. For facilities that have multiple licensures, the worker needs to call the facility to determine the licensure for the bed.

Nebraska law directs NHHSS and other public and private agencies who arrange and supervise living arrangements to report any facility which is not currently licensed and serves more than three individuals. The worker shall contact the Central Office, Aged and Disabled Services, if an unlicensed facility is identified.
