5-018.05 Authorization Procedures
Before authorizing transportation/escort services, Department staff must explore with the client the use of family, neighbors, friends, or community agencies that will provide this service without charge whenever possible. Department staff must discuss types and options of providers with the client before authorizing transportation services. Department staff must assure the client is aware of the associated costs.
