Foster homes lodging seven or more individuals outside of the family must meet the requirements contained in the "Life Safety Code, Edition 1994," for Small Residential Board and Care Facilities. These facilities must be inspected by the State Fire Marshal or the local fire authority having jurisdiction. (Exception: Refer to 6-003.08A.)
