3-002.09D1 Reporting Indigent Immigrants

When an immigrant is determined indigent, Food Programs must notify the U.S. Attorney General of each determination, including the names of the sponsor and the sponsored immigrant involved.
The worker must report the information
to Food Programs, Central Office, each time there is a determination of
an indigent immigrant. The document for reporting this information is
located on the Best Practices Log for Food Programs and is titled "Reporting
the Sponsor of an Indigent Immigrant."
Food Programs must in turn report the name of the sponsor(s) and the indigent
immigrant's name to:
