3-003.01H3 One Utility Allowance (OUA)

475 NAC 3-003.01H3

To qualify for the OUA, the household must be billed for no more than one utility. The household cannot be eligible for the OUA and be billed for heating or cooling costs, the telephone or have received a NLIEAP payment at the current address. A household which is billed for one utility on a recurring basis separately and apart from its rent or mortgage payment is entitled to the OUA.

The utilities included in the OUA are listed at 475 NAC 3-003.01H1 'Standard Utility Allowance'. Heating and cooling costs are not included in the OUA.
