475 NAC 3-001.03H

When the citizenship of any person applying for benefits is questionable, the worker must require the household to provide verification of the citizenship. The household member is disqualified from the Food Stamp Program until proof of U.S. citizenship is received.

When citizenship is questionable, acceptable verification includes any of the following:
  1. Birth certificate;
  2. Religious record;
  3. Voter registration card;
  4. Certification of citizenship or naturalization provided by CIS;
  5. ADC verification of citizenship; or
  6. A signed statement by a U.S. citizen which declares under penalty of perjury that the member in question is a U.S. citizen. This verification is acceptable only in the absence of other verification.
