4-004.01A3a Action When ADC Grant Ends
475 NAC 4-004.01A3a
When the household is assigned to the Simplified Reporting category and the ADC grant ends, the household must be assigned to Transitional Benefit Reporting if they are eligible for that reporting category. The household must be assigned to the Transitional Benefit Reporting category the month of the ADC Transitional Medical Assistance (TMA) half grant or the month after the ADC grant ends when a TMA grant is not authorized.
When the SR household's ADC grant ends because the household has reported a change and has not provided sufficient information or verification to determine continued ADC cash benefits, the household must be assigned to TBR if the household is eligible for that reporting category.

A worker may have insufficient information to determine continued ADC cash benefits when: 1. Absent parent returns to the home; or 2. Insufficient financial information for a new household member.
Example: 1. Three person household consisting of mom and two children. 2. Household is in the Simplified Reporting category and is certified from 07/01/10 through 6/30/11. 3. Mom starts a new job in August and the household is over the income level for ADC. 4. The income causes the household to get an ADC transitional grant for September. 5. The household is placed in the Transitional Benefit Reporting category beginning September 1. 6. The certification period end date is shortened to 01/31/11 (five months of TBR). |
