Reduction of cash payment (ADC, AABD) when an individual in the unit fails to comply with a regulation within an assistance program that is NOT a SNAP regulation Example: • Child Support sanction • EF sanction for dependent child • EF sanction for non-parent payee • Failure to apply for potential benefits • Noncooperation with TPL |
Cash assistance is reduced or terminated when an individual fails to comply with a cash assistance regulation that is also a SNAP regulation. Examples: • Failure to report change in income • Failure to provide requested verifications • Failure to complete application process. |
Termination of cash payment due to Employment First sanction. Allotment is reduced for the same number of months as the minimum EF sanction period. Example: • 1st EF sanction - 1 month • 2nd EF sanction - 3 months • 3rd EF sanction - 12 months |
Termination or reduction of cash assistance for reasons other than failure to comply. Examples: • Household request • Denial of cash assistance • End of 60 months of time-limited benefits • Failure to encourage children to attend school |
