Multi-select Function
Whenever logically possible, the system allows the user to select multiple values from a list box. List boxes that allow this option have the field name indicated in plural form, for example ‘Person(s)’ as opposed to ‘Person’ in which only single select would be allowed.
Note: To facilitate multi-selection, the following is the general rule:
Select (highlight) the first instance. If several desired instances are listed sequentially, hold down the Shift key as you highlight the last instance in the sequence. To add another instance listed out of sequence, hold down the Ctrl key as you highlight another line of data.
The Action buttons that are available will vary depending on the task selected.
