Pay Schedules

WINDOW OVERVIEW:

The Pay Schedules tab is used to enter details about the employment schedule. This tab enables when a person is selected and an employer name is entered on the Job Information tab.

This is a mandatory window. All jobs require at least one pay schedule.

The Pay Rate Frequency and Pay is Received fields are mandatory and cannot be updated once saved. If the information for these fields changes, the old job needs to be ended and a new job entered with the new Pay Rate Frequency and/or Pay is Received information.

FIELD DESCRIPTIONS:

This Schedule begins on: Enter the date (MM/DD/YYYY) the employment schedule begins. This is a mandatory field.

Verification: Select the source of verification from the drop down list. Verification tips.

Pay Rates Group Box:

Regular: Enter the rate of regular pay. This is a mandatory field.

Pay Rate Frequency: Select the frequency for the rate of pay from the drop down list. The list can be narrowed by typing the first letter of the rate. (ie. type w for weekly). This is a mandatory field. This field cannot be updated once it has been saved.

Hours Per Week: These fields will be enabled for regular, overtime, and shift pay rates if the pay rate frequency is hourly. If enabled, the regular hour per week is mandatory.

Pay is Received: Select the frequency for the receipt of the income (how often paid) from drop down list. The list can be narrowed by typing the first letter of the rate. (ie. type m for monthly). This is a mandatory field. This field cannot be updated once it has been saved.

Overtime: Enter the rate of overtime pay if applicable.

Shift: Enter the rate of any shift differential pay of applicable.

Estimated Tips/Bonus/Commission per Pay Period: Enter the amount of any tips, bonus's, or commissions received in the pay period or a new rate of pay is added during the month. Example.

Projected Month's Income When Pay Schedule Covers Only Partial Month Group Box:

This box is used to enter the projected income when the pay schedule is not reflective of a full months income because the job starts or ends during the month. If there is a "projected monthly amount" and a "final month's pay amount" for the same month, the "final month's pay amount" is the amount that will display in the budget calculation.

Gross Amount: Enter the estimated total income to be received.

Month of Receipt: Enter the month and year (MM/YYYY) the projected partial month's income will be received.
