The pay stub message is a warning message that appears when the pay schedule is for an hourly pay rate and the amount of the gross pay divided by the hours input results in an hourly rate different than the pay schedule hourly rate. The difference is set pretty tight ($.10 per hour different than the current pay rate).
The message is to notify workers that there may be a raise in pay, another significant change, or the pay amount has been entered incorrectly. The message does not require a change but is used as a reminder to check the income figures in an effort to catch and reduce errors.
