Add Additional Owner

WINDOW OVERVIEW:

The Add Additional Owner window is used to add other Master Case Persons to the ownership of a resource.

The total ownership percentage for the resource cannot exceed 100%. The Update function on the Owner(s) tab may need to be completed to adjust the percentage for other owners before the new owner is added. See: Ownership example.

FIELD DESCRIPTIONS:

Resource Display Box:

This box displays the resource type, account or ID number, the account location, and description for the resource.

Existing Owner(s) List Box:

This box displays the last name, first name, date of birth, percentage of ownership, and the begin and end date(s) for all existing owner(s) of the resource. No changes can be made to information in this box.

Owner List Box:

This box lists any remaining Master Case persons who do not have an ownership in the resource. The list displays the last name, first name, and date of birth for the person. Active, pending, spenddown, and premium due persons are listed before other Master case persons. Highlight the row for the person who has new ownership in the resource. Only one person can be selected at a time.

Percentage owned by selected owner: Enter the percentage of ownership for the new owner.

Begin Date: Enter the date (MM-DD-YYYY) the ownership begins. See: Begin Date tips.

ACTION BUTTONS:

OK Select the OK button to save the new owner information and return to the Owner(s) tab. If the Add Additional Owner action is not successful a message will appear.
Cancel Select the Cancel button to return to the Owner(s) tab without adding a new owner.
Help The Help button displays the help information for the active data collection task.
