DMV Search Driver License/Vehicle

WINDOW OVERVIEW:  

The Search Driver License/Vehicle window allows for entry of search criteria to obtain information regarding the license of a driver or for a motor vehicle. This window is access from the Main Menu by clicking the Interface Icon . The Interface Main Menu will open. Click the DMV Icon to open the Search Driver License/Vehicle window.

FIELD DESCRIPTIONS:

Search Type Group Box:

Driver License:  Select this radio button to start the search for information regarding a person's driver's license.

Vehicle:  Select this radio button to start the search for information regarding the license for a vehicle.

Person Group Box:

Last Name:  Enter the exact name of the person.

First Name:  Enter the exact name of the person.

Birth Date:  Vehicle Search does not allow the entry of DOB.

County of Registration:  Select the county from the drop down list.

Gender: Select the radio button for the gender.

Note: This field is only available for the Driver License search.

Business Name Search Method: Select the Exact Spelling or Sounds Like radio button.

Driver License Number:  Enter the Driver License number.

-OR-

Business Name:  Enter the exact name of the business.

Business Name Search Method: Select the Exact Spelling or Sounds Like radio button.

-OR-

Vehicle Identification Number (VIN): Enter the Vehicle Identification Number.

-OR-

Plate Number:  Enter the Plate Number of the vehicle.

:  Click the Search Arrow to open the Person Search window.

 

ACTION BUTTONS:

	Select this button to search based on the criteria entered.
	Select this button to clear the criteria selected on the window.
	Select this button to close the window without saving and return to the Interface Menu.
	Select this button to open help for this window.
