The BDE Benefit Detail window displays the person's Social Security eligibility and payment information for the record selected in the BDE List window.

Identifying information:
SSN: This box displays the N-FOCUS Social Security Number for the person.
Birth Date: This box displays the person's N-FOCUS date of birth.
Name: This box displays the person's N-FOCUS name.
Gender: This box displays the person's N-FOCUS gender code.
Claim Information:
Claim Number: This box displays the Social Security claim account number that was used to determine the benefits. If the person is claiming benefits primarily under their own work history, this number is probably the person's Social Security Number followed by the suffix A. If the person is claiming benefits from a parent or spouse,the number will be different and will have a different SSA Claim Number Suffix code.
Date Received: This box displays the date that the record was received in N-FOCUS.
Payment Status: This box displays the person's payment status on the date of the record. If the person is not eligible for a payment, the reason will be displayed. If the payment status is CURRENT PAY (CP) the person is receiving payments.
Bendex Match Status: This box displays the status of the N-FOCUS request matching the SSA record.
Record Source: This box displays the activity that generated the record.
Entitlement Information:
Current Entitlement Date: This box displays the most recent date the person became eligible for Social Security benefits. The date may be different from the Initial Entitlement Date if there was a break in entitlement.
Initial Entitlement Date: This box displays the date when the person first became eligible for Social Security.
Disability Date: The box displays the date the person most recently became eligible due to a disability. This date will continue to display for an aged person if s/he initially established eligibility for Social Security as disabled.
Dual/Triple Entitle Status: This box displays a message indicating that the person is eligible to receive benefits under more than one claim number. In most instances, only one check is issued under one claim number and the message “Payment Status Adjustment – Benefits Combined with Another Claim” will appear in one or both of the boxes. If the person receives more than one check, a BDE record for each claim number is received and the Payment Status for each is “Current Pay.”
Dual Entitle Claim Number: This box displays the other claim number when a person is eligible to receive benefits under a second claim number. Payment Status Adjustment – Benefits Combined with Another Claim” will appear when only one check is issued under one claim number.
Triple Entitle Claim Number: This box displays the third claim number when a person is eligible to receive benefits under more than two claim number.
Payment Information:
Effective Date: This box displays the check amount effective date when the payment status is Current Pay.
Check Amount: This box displays the amount of the person's actual check when the Payment Status is “Current Pay”.
Entitlement Amount: This box displays the amount the person is eligible to receive before deductions.
Gross Amount: This box displays the amount the person is eligible to receive before deductions and rounding down to the next dollar figure. This amount is used to update the Unearned Income task in the Expert System.
Garnishment Amount: This box displays the amount withheld from the person's benefit check to pay any court ordered garnishments.
Overpayment Monthly Recovery Amount: This box displays the amount withheld from the person's benefit check to repay a previous Social Security overpayment.
Recovery End Date: This box displays the date the overpayment recovery is scheduled to end.
SSI Overpayment Amount Withheld: This box displays the amount withheld from the person's Social Security benefit check to repay a Supplemental Security Income overpayment. this amount is separate and in addition to the overpayment monthly recovery amount.
Retro Payment Amount: This box displays the check amount issued to cover a retroactive period of Social Security eligibility.
Scheduled Payment Information:
Scheduled Payment Information: this box displays any payments scheduled for a future date.
Payment Date: This box displays the scheduled date of any future payments.
Current Payment Amount: This box displays the payment amount for the current month that will be included in the future payment.
Prior Payment Amount: This box displays the payment amount of previous payments that will be included in the future payment.
Combined Check: This box displays the combination of the current payment amount and previous payments that will be included in the future payment.
Railroad Information:
Railroad benefit amount information is not provided by BENDEX.
Railroad: This box indicates if the person is entitled to Railroad Retirement benefits.
Railroad Claim Number: This box displays the Railroad Retirement claim number. This is a "converted' claim number and may not match the claim number on Railroad correspondence or Medicare card.
Railroad Status: This box displays the status of the Railroad Retirement claim.
Railroad Jurisdiction Start Date: This box displays the effective date of the Railroad Retirement claim.
Railroad Jurisdiction Stop Date: This box displays the end date of the Railroad Retirement claim.
