SDX Payment

WINDOW OVERVIEW:

The SDX Payment window opens when the SDX Payment tab is selected on the SDX web page.  It displays  payment information for the record selected the SDX List tab.  It is used to view information about the current SSI payment status, any special SSI or Medicaid status, and any adjustments to the payment.

FIELD DESCRIPTIONS:

Identifying information:

SSN:  This box displays the N-FOCUS Social Security Number for the person.

Birth Date:  This box displays the person's N-FOCUS date of birth.

Name:  This box displays the person's N-FOCUS name.

Gender:  This box displays the person's N-FOCUS gender code.

Payment Status:  This box displays the SSI payment status for the selected record.

Actual Amount:  This box displays the actual amount of the check as of the date of the selected record.

Eligibility Amount: This box displays the amount the person is eligible to receive before any adjustments for over or under payments.

Advanced Amount: This box displays the amount of emergency payment that was issued to the client and is subtracted from the first regular SSI payment issued. This information continues to appear in this field after regular payments have started.

Over/Under Payment: This box indicates whether there is an over payment or under payment that will be adjusted from the eligibility amount.  If neither exists, this field will be blank.

O/P Monthly Recovery Amount: This box displays the amount any over payments being withheld from the  person's monthly SSI payment amount.

Interim Assistance Reimbursement Status: This box displays whether or not a State Interim Assistance Reimbursement has been filed with SSI and the status of the payment.

Reimbursement State: This box displays the state that filed the Interim Assistance Reimbursement claim.

SSI Payment History Box:

This box displays the SSI payments for the three months prior to the date this record was received.

Date: This column displays the date the SSI payment was issued.

Amount: This column displays the actual amount of the SSI payment.

Special SSI Status: This field displays 1619(A) when the client is eligible for Special SSI benefits. 1619(A) in this field means that the client continues to be eligible for SSI payments even though s/he is employed and has net earned income in excess of the SSI payment level. If this field is blank, the client is not eligible for special SSI benefits.

Special Medicaid Status: This field displays 1619(B) when the client is eligible for Special Medicaid benefits.  1619(b) in this field means that the client is eligible for Special Medicaid benefits even though s/he is employed and has net earned income in excess of the SSI payment level.  If this field is blank, the client is not eligible for special Medicaid benefits.
