Detail Organization - Identify Perm/Dup Org

WINDOW OVERVIEW:

The Detail Organization - Identify Perm/Dup Org window is used to add either a Duplicate or Permanent designation to an organization.

• When the "Identify Permanent ORG" option is selected on the Detail Organization window Actions drop down menu for the organization that should be designated as a duplicate, this window opens with the current organization information entered in the Duplicate ORG field.
• When the "Identify Duplicate ORG" option is selected on the Detail Organization window Actions drop down menu for the organization that should be designated as the permanent organization, this window opens with the current organization information entered in the Permanent ORG field.

FIELD DESCRIPTIONS:

Permanent Organization Box

This box displays the name of the organization that will be made the permanent organization.

ID#: This field displays the system generated ID# for the organization.

Name:  This field displays the name of the permanent organization.

The Search arrow is enabled when the name of the permanent organization is blank.  Select the arrow to open the Search Organization window to begin the search for the permanent organization.

Duplicate Organizations List Box:

Several (up to 15) duplicate organizations can be highlighted on the list and the designation changed at the same time.

ID#: This column displays the system generated ID# for the duplicate organization(s).

Name:  This column displays the name of the duplicate organization(s).

The Search arrow is enabled when the name of the duplicate organization is blank.  Select the arrow to open the Search Organization window to begin the search for the duplicate organization.

ACTION BUTTONS:

	Select the OK button to save the Duplicate and/ or Permanent Organization designations.
	Select the Clear button to remove the sort criteria and remain on the window to change the criteria.
	Select the Cancel button to close the window without saving any permanent or duplicate organization designation.
