Match Type

SSN:  A match type of “SSN” means an existing person in the list already has the Social Security Number entered for the new/changed person. The new person cannot be added when the match type is “SSN”. The conflict must be resolved before the add action can proceed. (If the SSN really belongs to the new person, it must be terminated from the other person. If the SSN really belongs to the other person, the SSN for the new person must be corrected.)

Name: A match type of “Name” means the person(s) in the list has a name that is very similar to the new person.

All: A match type of “All” means that it matched on both the SSN and Name and must be resolved before the add action can proceed (like the “SSN” match).

SNDX: The system determined via the soundex formula that the name matches the new person.
