Multi-Select Physical Address

WINDOW OVERVIEW:

The Multi-Select Physical Address window opens when there is more than one person in a Master Case and the Address for one of the persons is added or changed.

• The window will not open for single person cases.
• The window will not open for Organization or Office address changes.
• The window will not open cases with an active placement type of Out-Of-Home, Runaway, Independent Living, or With Parent-Abduction.  A message window opens.
• The window will not open if the only change is to the Directions Description, Last Know Address indicator, or Mailing Address.

The window will only open when the Master Case is opened from the Master Case icon on the N-FOCUS Main Menu.

FIELD DESCRIPTIONS:

Mode:  The current window
UPDATE
INQUIRYmode displays under the close window icon.

Selected Address Box:

Name:  When updating an address this field displays the name of the person whose address was changed.  When registering a Master Case this field displays the Master Case name person.

MC Number:  This field displays the number of the Master Case that is being updated.

Physical Address:  This field displays the newly physical created address.

Mailing Address: This field displays the newly created mailing address.

Master Case Person Address List Box:

This list displays the other persons Active or with an Active Program Involvement in the Master Case with the exception of children with an active placement type of Out-Of-Home, Runaway, Independent Living, or With Parent-Abduction.  Unborn will not be displayed.

To update the address of a person in the list with the newly added address, highlight the person(s) in the list.

To remove the highlight from the person line single click on the line.

Last:  This column displays the Master Case person's last name.

First:  This column displays the Master Case person's first name.

M:  This column displays the Master Case person's middle initial.

Ext:  This column displays the Master Case person's name extension.

Birth Date:  This column displays the Master Case person's date of birth.

Physical Address:  This column displays the current physical address on the N-FOCUS system for this Master Case person.  When as asterisk appears before the address it is an indication that the address is a last known address and the person may no longer be there.

Mailing Address: This column displays the current mailing address on the N-FOCUS system for this Master Case person.

Person:  This column displays the Master Case person's system assigned identification number.

ACTION BUTTONS:

The Update Address button is enabled when one or more persons are highlighted in the list.  Select the button to change the address for the highlighted person to be the same as the address in the Selected Address above.  The new address will display in the Address List box.
