Correct Begin Date

WINDOW OVERVIEW:

The Correct Begin Date window is used to back up the Service Authorization Begin Date in order to correct an error. The change must be made in the Detail Service Authorization window for an existing Authorization.

Basic Rules:

  1. The Begin Date may be changed to a date that is earlier than the original date. It may not be moved forward.
  2. The system will ensure that for the additional days; the Program Service Type is active, the Case Person has an allowed status/role, the selected provider is active, and the Authorization does not duplicate another Authorization.
  3. The system will update the begin date of any associated rates to the new Service Authorization Begin Date.
  4. The worker must decide whether unit numbers need to be adjusted, and if so, take the appropriate action.

Date: Enter the corrected begin date (MM-DD-YYYY).

ACTION BUTTONS:

Select the OK button to change the date.
Select the Cancel button to close the window without changing the date.
