The Benefit Summary for Medicaid Insurance for Working Disabled cases is used to view the details of a selected Medical Assistance budget.
Begin Date: The budget month is displayed in the title bar of the window.
Program Case Group Box:
This box displays the first and last name of the Program Case Name person, the MEDICAID program type, the MIWD category of MED eligibility, and the type of budget (regular or recalculated).
Budget Details Display Box:
Resource Total: This field displays the total amount of resources calculated for the program case.
Resource Limit: This field displays the resource limit established for the program case.

Unearned Income: This field displays the disabled individual's unearned income that is not based on a trial work period plus any unearned income of a financially responsible spouse.
Earned Income: This field displays any earned income that is not disregarded.
Earned Income Disregard: This field displays any earned income disregard.
Net Earned Income: This field displays the earned income minus the earned income disregard.
Total Net Countable Income: This field displays the total of the Unearned income plus the Net Earned Income.
Medical Income Level: This field displays the maximum MIWD income level allowed.
Resource Test: This field displays the Resource test Pass or Fail status.
Income Test: This field displays the Income test Pass or Fail status.
Unit Size: This field displays the number of persons considered in the MIWD case budgeting. (A double click on this field opens a helpful non-financial summary.)

Unearned Income: This field displays the total unearned income of the disabled person plus any unearned income of a financially responsible spouse.
Unearned Income Disregard: This field displays the unearned income disregard allowed.
Net Unearned Income: This field displays the Unearned Income minus the Unearned Income Disregard.
Earned Income: This field displays the total earned income.
Earned Income Disregard: This field displays the earned income disregard allowed.
Net Earned Income: This field displays the Earned Income minus the Earned Income Disregard.
Total Net Countable Inc: This field displays the total of the Net Unearned and Earned incomes.
Medical Disregards: This field displays the total amount of medical expenses allowed as a disregard.
Total Adjusted Income: This field displays the Net Countable income minus Medical Disregards.
Medical Income Level: This field displays the maximum MIWD income level allowed.
Income Test: This field displays the Income Pass or Fail status.
Premium Amount: This field displays the amount of any premium due for the budget month.
Creation Date: This field displays the date the budget was authorized.
Note: The specifics of many of the line items can be viewed by double clicking on the line. (designated on these pages in navy blue type). Budgets authorized before 07-06-2004 may be displayed in a different format and not all of the fields listed here in navy blue type will open.
