Participant Action Confirmation

The Participant Action Confirmation window in the Participant Action task is used to review the participant's status before finalizing a close or reopen action for a participant that is in ineligible status.

  • Close action: The participant status is ineligible for a month(s) and then “closed’ for the come-up month.
  • Reopen action: The participant status is ineligible and there are no overpayments placed into a Accounts Receivable for the ineligible month(s). The budget must be processed for each month the case is to be reopened.

Reopen an Ineligible Status Person

FIELD DESCRIPTIONS:

Message:

The following participants will be placed in this status as the result of this action.

Participant List Box:

Last Name: This column displays the last name of the participant that is being closed.

First Name: This column displays the first name of the participant that is being closed.

Date of Birth: This column displays the participant's date of birth.

Program Type: This column displays the type of program case.

Role: This column displays the participants role in the program case.

Status: This field displays the participant's status with the most current status at the top of the list.

Begin Date: This field displays the begin date for the status.

End Date: This field displays the end date of the status.


Close Message :

No budgets are being deleted as a result of this action, but a participant has been closed. You must check that the ongoing (type of program case) is properly configured and budgets are authorized through and including (come up month).

Reopen Message:

The following budget(s) of this program case is (are) being deleted or end dated. You must re-run Configuration and Budgeting up to and including (come up month).

Reopen Participant List Box:

This portion of the window list the budgets that will be deleted or end dated as the result of reopening the ineligible person. Each of these budgets must be reprocessed including the reopened person.

Case Name: This column displays the First and Last name of the Program Case Name Person.

Pgm Type: This column displays the Type of program case in which the person is being reopened.

Category: This column displays the Category of the program case if there is more than one.

Auth Amt: This column displays the amount of the authorized payment if there is one.

Budget Type: This column displays the Type of budget.

Begin Date: This column displays the date (MM-DD-YYYY) the status began.

Create Date: This column displays the date (MM-DD-YYYY) the status ends.

ACTION BUTTONS:

Select the OK button to accept the case action and return to the Reopen Case Action window.
Select the Cancel button to return to the Reopen Case Action window without making any changes.
Select the Help button to display the help information for the active task.
