Detail Tribal Information

WINDOW OVERVIEW:

The Detail Tribal Information window opens from the Person Detail window and the CFS Program Person window by selecting the Tribal push button.

This window is used to enter detail tribal information if the child is covered under ICWA. If the child does not have a tribal affiliation, this can be indicated on this window as well.

FIELD DESCRIPTIONS:

Person Group Box:  

Person:  This field displays the name of the youth whose information is being added or updated.

Does ICWA apply to this child's case? Select Yes or No.

Determination Date: The date it was determined if the youth is covered under ICWA.

ACTION BUTTONS:

	Select the Cultural Plan button to open the Detail Cultural Plan window. Note: If a cultural plan already exists, the List Cultural Plan window will display. Select the New Icon to create a new plan or highlight the existing plan and select the Open icon to view the existing plan.
	Select the Tribal Info button to open the Tribal Membership Information window.
	Select the Qualified Expert button to open the Qualified Expert Witness Hearing window.

 

Tribe Name:  This field displays the name of a Tribe that has been selected. If a tribal name does not display select the Add Tribe button to access the List Tribal window. This is a mandatory field.

Enrollment Number: The youth's enrollment number for the tribal affiliation.

Status: The youth's status within the tribe.

Status Date: The date the youth's status was determined.

Verification Document Received: Select Yes or No.

ACTION BUTTONS:

	Select the Add Tribe button to open the List Tribal window to select and add the appropriate tribe.
	Select the Update button to update selected row from the Tribe Name Group Box.
	Select the Delete button to delete a row from the Tribe Name Group Box.
	Select the Intervene/Transfer button to open the Intervention/Transfer Hearing Detail window. This window is used to document a tribe's intervention on behalf of the youth.

 

Tribe Name Group Box:

Tribe Name: This field displays the name of a Tribe that has been selected. If a tribal name does not display select the Add Tribe button to access the List Tribal window. This is a mandatory field.

Enrollment : The youth's enrollment number for the tribal affiliation.

Status: The youth's status within the tribe.

Status Date: The date the youth's status was determined.

Primary Tribe Ind: This field displays the youth's primary tribe affiliation

Verification Doc Recvd: This field indicates if documentation regarding the youth's tribal affiliation has been received.
