Disable the PIN

The PIN number can be disabled to stop the access of the Client Benefit Inquiry site without changing  the PIN.  This status will be set when there is some suspected misuse of the User Account associated with the customer.

On the Detail Person PIN Management window:

  1. Click Action, select Disable from the drop down list.
  2. A pop-up window opens; select the reason to disable the PIN from the reasons.  Click OK.
  3. The status of the PIN will change to disabled and the reason selected will display in the Status Reason field.  The status begin date will change to the date of the change.
  4. When it has been determined that the customer can view their benefits, clear the PIN by clicking the Clear PIN button.  This will create a new PIN that night and a letter containing the new PIN will be sent to the customer.
