Add AABD Essential Person
WINDOW OVERVIEW:
The Add AABD Essential Person window is used to add a person to an active or pending AABD grant case the role of AABD Essential Person.

FIELD DESCRIPTIONS:
Program Case Box:
This box identifies the AABD program case selected on the Other Role Actions - Current tab.
Last Name: This column displays the last name of the program case person.
First Name: This column displays the first name of the program case person.
Program: This column displays the type of program case.
Program Number: This column displays the system number assigned to the program case.
Person List Box:
This box lists the people in the Master Case that may be considered for the role of Essential Person. These person(s) are not already active or pending in other AABD or ADC cases nor are they Essential Persons in another active AABD case. Highlight the person the household requests have the role of Essential Person and that meets the program definitions for the role.
Last Name: This column displays the last name of the person considered for the role of Essential Person.
First Name: This column displays the first name of the person considered for the role of Essential Person.
Birth Date: This column displays the date of birth for the person considered for the role of Essential Person.
Household Status: This column displays the household status of the person considered for the role of Essential Person.
Change selected Participant(s) Household Status to “In”? :These radio buttons enable when the selected person has a household status of “out of household”.
- Yes: Select this radio button if the person considered for the role of Essential Person is currently in the household.
- No: Select this radio button if the person considered for the role of Essential Person is not in the household.
Take action for this month only?These radio buttons enable if the month selected in the Benefit Month on the Other Role Action - Current tab is not the come up month.
- Yes: Select the “yes” radio button if the addition of the Essential Person is for only the month selected in the Benefit Month. (If you cannot view the date, move the mouse pointer to the title bar of this window and drag the window lower to view the date field.). The Essential person will be added in active status for only the selected benefit month and closed beginning with the following month.
- No: Select the No radio button if the person should be considered for the role of Essential Person for more than the one month.
ACTION BUTTONS:

The OK button enables when all required information has been completed. It is used to save the information that has been currently entered and return to the Other Role Action - Current tab. |

The Cancel button is used to leave the window and NOT save the information that has been currently entered. |

The Help button will always be enabled. Help will display the help information relating to the case maintenance task that is active. |
