The Cancel Collection window opens when a transaction line is highlighted and the Cancel button is selected on the Detail Accounts Receivable window. The Cancel button is used to change a line item showing in the list box to canceled status. This action updates the current balance of the Accounts Receivable.
Select the reason for this cancellation: Select the cancellation reason from the options in the drop down list. An Insufficient Funds check will cancel all lines associated with the collection (when posted to more than one Accounts Receivable).

Select the OK button to save the cancellation and return to the Detail Accounts Receivable window. |

Select the Cancel button to return to the Detail Accounts Receivable window without saving the information. |
