The Calculate Income - SE Ledger Income tab is used to calculate the self employment ledger income to be considered in the budget process for the benefit month.

Owner Group Box:
Highlight the first row of self employment ledger income to be calculated. An asterisk at the beginning of a row of self employment income means the income has not been calculated.
Owner: This column displays the first and last name of the self employment owner.
Description: This column displays a description of the self employment.
Calculation Method:
Select the calculation method from those available in the drop down list.
Multiplier: This field will only become active when LIHEAP has been requested. Select how many months will be used for the annual LIHEAP budget.
Display Month(s) of SE Ledger Income Date Boxes:
From: The From box defaults to the most recent month with self employment ledger income. Other months with self employment ledger income can be selected from the drop down list. Select the most current month with self employment ledger income to be included in the budget process.
To: The list of months in the To drop down list box include all past months with self employment ledger income information. Select the oldest month with self employment ledger income to be included in the budget process.
Monthly Ledger Amount(s) List Box:
This box displays all self employment ledger information entered between the To and From dates. Highlight the amounts to be used in the income calculation. One or many may be selected
When the calculation method is "actual" only one row can be highlighted.
When the calculation method is average multiple rows can be highlighted. A combination of actual and estimated rows can be selected.
Month: This column displays the month the ledger income is received.
Total Received: This column displays the total ledger income received in the month.
Total Expenses: This column displays the total of expenses claimed in the month.
Total Net Income: This column displays the net income resulting from the total received income less the total expenses for the month. This may be a positive or negative figure.
Estimated/Actual: This column displays wether the income figures are based on actual or estimated income and expense figures.

The
Add button enables when one or more rows of SE Ledger Income is highlighted.
The Add button adds (commits) the selected SE Ledger Income information
to the budget process. When working with a LIHEAP case, the Add button will not become enabled until the Multiplier field has been populated. |

The Help button is always enabled. It is used to display window specific help. |
