Navigator

WINDOW OVERVIEW:

The Navigator window is the first window to display once a case is selected from the Case Status window. The Navigator allows the worker to view data in Expert System and to act on Expert System Program Cases from a single easily accessible central location.

The left side of the Navigator consists of a List of `Tasks', in an expandable Tree List format.

For each task on the Tree List, a Window # 1 and Window # 2 open on the right side of the Navigator. They are used to enter information that enables eligibility processing and/or documentation of required facts.

There is a Menu Bar and Tool Bar at the top of each window and a Status Bar The Status Bar is at the very bottom of the window. A message is displayed toward the left on the Status Bar that informs the user which process the system is currently performing and/or whether this is an active or inquiry view. at the bottom of each window.

Data Collection and CWIS tasks are not benefit month specific.

Most of the Case Maintenance tasks, Configuration, and Budgeting are benefit month specific.

The window panes on the Navigator can be resized to allow you to see all data contained in a specific pane. To resize a windowpane, position your mouse pointer on the window pane separator line until it becomes a line with an arrowhead on each end. Then drag the pane to the desired size.
