Case Status

WINDOW OVERVIEW:

The Case Status window lists all Master Cases that are downloaded to the workstation. This window acts as a gatekeeper between the Expert System and the mainframe.

  1. To process a Master Case through the Expert System, highlight the Master Case and click on the Open icon or double clink the highlighted Master Case.
  2. To check-in a Master Case to the mainframe, highlight the Master Case, click on the Action pull-down menu, refresh the status to case ready, and then select the Check-In Case option. The case must be in Case Ready status.
  3. To override checkout for a Master Case, highlight the Master Case, click on the Action pull-down menu, and select the Override Checkout option. The case must be in Case Ready status.

The Case Status window does not automatically refresh when it is opened. To refresh the status of the case list select the Refresh Window option in the Actions drop down menu.

FIELD DESCRIPTIONS:

Case ID: This field displays the unique system-assigned number used to identify each Master Case.

Case Name: This field displays the name of the person primarily assigned to the Master Case.

Case Status: This field displays the downloaded or uploaded status of the case.

Case Ready = The case has been checked out and can be opened to the navigator, checked in, or overridden back to the mainframe.

Case Locked = The case has been opened to the navigator window and must be closed back to the Case Status window before it can be checked in or overridden back to the mainframe.
